Adriaen Hannemann the Younger
Adriaen Hannemann the Younger (1590-1646) was a Flemish painter of the Baroque period. He was born in Antwerp and apprenticed to his father, Adriaen Hannemann the Elder, a well-known painter. Hannemann's style blended traditional Flemish realism with Italianate influences. He specialized in still-life compositions, often featuring exotic fruits, flowers, and scientific instruments. His work is characterized by attention to detail, subtle color harmonies, and a sense of drama.
