Aegidius Sadeler

Aegidius Sadeler (1572-1629) was a Netherlandish engraver and printmaker of the Renaissance period. He was born in Antwerp and trained with his father, Johann Sadeler, also an engraver. Aegidius is known for his intricate and detailed engravings, often depicting mythological scenes, portraits, and landscapes.
