Agnes Denes

Agnes Denes (born 1931) is a Hungarian-American artist known for her pioneering work in Land Art and Eco-Art. Her innovative practices often blurred the lines between nature and art, as seen in her iconic "Tree Planting" performance (1966), where she planted two apple trees on Wall Street to reclaim urban space.
