Andrea Pozzo
Andrea Pozzo (1642-1709) was an Italian painter and architect of the Baroque era. As a Jesuit, he created stunning works for churches and palaces. His distinctive style blended grandiose architecture with vivid frescoes, often depicting biblical scenes. Notable works include his masterpiece, "The Apotheosis of St. Ignatius" in the Church of Sant'Ignazio in Rome.
