Anna Mary Robertson Moses

Anna Mary Robertson Moses (1867-1961) was an American folk artist and painter known for her naive style. She began painting at age 76 and created over 1,500 works before her death. Moses' artwork often featured pastoral scenes of rural life and animals, rendered in a simple yet charming manner. Her unique perspective as a former farmer's wife and mother of nine added authenticity to her depictions of everyday American life.
