Armando Morales

Armando Morales (1927-2011) was a Dominican painter and artist known for his contributions to Latin American modernism. A pioneer of Cuban art, he blended elements of Cubism, Realism, and Surrealism in his work. Morales' paintings often featured everyday scenes and figures from his native Dominican Republic, imbued with a sense of melancholy and introspection. His bold use of color and fragmented forms gave his works a distinctive, modernist flair.
