Berthe Morisot
Berthe Morisot (1841-1895) was a French Impressionist painter and pioneering female artist. She was part of the circle of artists known as the Barbizon school and later became one of the leading figures in the Impressionist movement. Morisot's works often depicted intimate, domestic scenes of middle-class life, focusing on women's experiences and emotions. Her soft, feathery brushstrokes and delicate color palette created a sense of quiet contemplation and introspection.
