Charles-François Daubigny
Charles-François Daubigny was a French landscape painter and one of the pioneers of Impressionism. He was born in 1817 and died in 1877. Daubigny's work focused on depicting everyday life and scenes from nature, often using bold colors and loose brushstrokes to capture the fleeting effects of light and atmosphere. He is known for his innovative use of outdoor painting sites, where he would set up his easel and paint en plein air (outdoors).
