Georges Seurat
Georges Seurat (1859-1891) was a French post-impressionist painter who pioneered Pointillism. He developed a unique technique of applying small dots of color in patterns to form an image, creating a sense of shimmering light and depth. His most famous work is "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" (1886), which features thousands of tiny dots that blend together to create a vibrant and dreamlike atmosphere.
