Lyonel Feininger
Lyonel Feininger (1871-1956) was a German-American artist and printmaker. A key figure in Expressionism, his work blended figurative and abstract elements with vibrant colors. He created geometric abstractions, cityscapes, and portraits that explored the relationship between form, space, and emotion. Influenced by Cubism and Futurism, Feininger's unique style merged American Precisionism with European modernist ideals.
