Oskar Fischinger

Oskar Fischinger (1900-1967) was a German-American abstract and experimental animator. He is considered one of the pioneers of animation and a key figure in the development of abstract filmmaking. Fischinger's work explored the relationship between music, color, and movement, creating mesmerizing and emotive visualizations. His innovative techniques included painting on glass, using prisms to refract light, and manipulating film stock.
