Umberto Boccioni

Umberto Boccioni (1882-1916) was a pioneering Italian artist who merged Futurism and Cubism to create dynamic, abstracted forms. He co-founded the Futurist movement with Luigi Russolo and Gino Severini. Boccioni's works, such as "Unique Forms of Continuity in Space" (1913), emphasized speed, motion, and the dynamism of modern life. His innovative techniques included the use of multiple perspectives, fragmented forms, and a blend of painting and sculpture.
